The problem of accessibility of sport among youth in Kazakhstan

Abstract

The authors of the article analyze the current state of sports in Kazakhstan among young people as the most vulnerable group and the challenges they face in accessing sports. The development of physical education and mass sports is one of the strategically important directions of state policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A key priority in this direction is fostering a healthy lifestyle, encouraging active sportsparticipation, and promoting physical well-being and social development. Involving young people in physical education and sports, as well as instilling a desire for a healthy lifestyle, remains a priority forgovernment bodies at all levels. Youth is considered an important social group that significantly influences the formation and development of modern society. The process of youth development takes place within the framework of the main social institutions, among which the Institute of Physical Education and Sports occupies a special place. Today sport plays an important role in the world; recognized as one of the main types of human activity that actively influences human development. Sport is considered a human right and an integral part of ensuring the health and well-being of every person. It also plays a high role in the concept of generally accepted norms and values ​​of society.

This article analyzes the development and accessibility of sports among the youth of Kazakhstan. The achieved and planned quantitative indicators of attracting young people to regular sports are considered. The problem of access to sports for the youth of Kazakhstan is analyzed, and the main reasons hindering the development of access to sports and their participation are studied.
