About the Journal

Gumilyov Journal of Sociology (hereinafter «the Journal») is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to publishing original, high-quality, rigorously selected research articles in sociology.

 

The Journal covers a broad range of topics and areas within sociology, publishing articles that address both fundamental theoretical and methodological questions and empirical research findings across diverse sociological fields. The Journal welcomes contributions from various theoretical and methodological paradigms, aiming to represent the diversity of contemporary sociological research.

 

The Journal has been published since 1995. It is registered with the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Certificate of re-registration No. KZ81VPY00114486 dated March 11, 2025.

The Journal is indexed by the International Standard Serial Number Center, with ISSN (Print) 3080-1702.

The Journal is published quarterly, four times per year.
